Carnaval (Feb. 19-24, 2004)
Carnaval is the same celebration as Mardi Gras in New Orleans. The 5 days of Carnaval include parades, dances, contests, eating, and of course, partying.

Hobie West Mid-winter's Regatta (Feb. 22-24)
Annual catamaran regatta in San Felipe.

Baja 250 (Feb. 27-28, 2004)
Another in a series of desert races for trucks, cars, dune buggies and motorcycles. The race begins and ends in San Felipe. Score International & Tecate Breweries are the main sponsors. For more information, visit their web site at Score International.

College Spring Break (March-April)
During the last few weeks of March until the week before Easter, San Felipe is flooded with 1,000s of college kids. The town is one big party during these weeks.

Ensenada-San Felipe 200 (Oct. 11-13)
This is another of the many off road racing events to begin or end in San Felipe.

Off Road "Poker Run"(Oct. 25, 2003)
This off-road fun ride is open to all types of off road vehicles. For more information, please call (661) 612-2525 or e-mail .

San Felipe in October Festival(Oct. 25-27)
The town of San Felipe celebrates with sporting events such as volleyball and off-road fun rides, musicians, and gastronomic events.

San Felipe Shrimp Festival (Nov. 6-9, 2003)
This festival celebrates the main seafood product of the area, shrimp. It is in it's 10th year. Events include shrimp taste-off, carnival rides, dances, beach soccer and live music. For more information, please call (686) 577-2300 or email cotucosf@hotmail.com.

Baja 1000 (Nov. 20-23, 2003)
This is the grandaddy of off-road racing! The race begins in Ensenada and travels over 1,000 miles throughout Baja. It passes San Felipe on it's route. Score International & Tecate Breweries are the main sponsors. For more information, visit their web site at Score International.

Laguna Percebu Poker Run (Nov. 30)
A fun race with a poker game mixed in for excitement. You are issued cards at checkpoints. For more information, please contact Marcos or Jorge Lopez at (657) 7-1259.
