Cuernavaca has many places to eat and to find new flavors and experiences, and many places to dine can be found immediately around the many central plaza. Just start by trying their excellent harvests of local purple beans, lima beans, garbanzo beans and eggplant. Also, if you want to experience the daily life in Cuernavaca, you can walk around into local markets and taste the mexican "antojitos" (snacks). You have to try the pambazos which are buns with potato filling or the quesadilla with different kinds of fillings like rajas con queso, tinga de pollo, cesos de cuitlacoche.

You can choose from an array of regional and international restaurants available in Cuernavaca. Among the traditional plates, the sopa de tortilla and the pambazos are very popular.
