The Posada de la Salud offers you pleasant rooms, welcoming reading spaces, and a maximum level of rest amid lush greenery. 
Built in 1800, this hotel is constructed on the latter part of a house typical of Patzcuaro. It beautifully blends the classic elements of its time period: adobe walls, “tejamanil”-supported terrace roof, ”wooden beam structure with “fajilla” and tile. For your resting pleasure, our hotel includes a beautiful garden, and two spacious patios, viewable from any room in the hotel. 
The dormitory section of the hotel was constructed in 1973, in harmonious contrast with the 19 th century hotel structure. Although contemporary in its construction, with flagstone partitions and concrete paving stone, the hotel does not compromise style and elegance; the detailed woodwork, including door posts and furniture, are hand crafted by local artisans. Adding to this fine balance of contemporary and classic design is the lofty chimney, which can be found in some of the hotel rooms and conference rooms. 
Overall, we try to preserve the rustic motif typical of most Patzcuaro designs.
