Angler Information Center
Welcome to ifishmazatlan.com, your online go-to source for all things
related to sport fishing in Mazatlan. From big game fish such as Tuna, Marlin,
Sailfish, and Mahi-Mahi to finesse fishing in the surf for Snapper, Snook,
and Seabass, Mazatlan has something for everyone.

Do you get seasick, but like to fish? Mangrove fishing is another option. We catch
Snapper, Snook, and Seabass consistently and there is no risk of seasickness.
Another option is Surf fishing from the shoreline. Either cas#ng swim baits or with
live shrimp we catch fish.
Bottom aka Coastline fishing in a panga is also a great option. We fish structures like
sunken ships or reefs and rocks up and down Mazatlán’s coastline. We fish with live
shrimp and catch Seabass, Snook, Snappers, Grouper, Pompano, Triggers and Mero.
And for all you adrenaline junkies we have what we call here Extreme Tube Fishing.
We take a 0oat tube behind the break and slay Snook, Snapper, and Seabass. This
type of fishing is limited to only certain days of the year because the waves have to
be under 3 2. and the angler has to have experience in the surf. My personal favorite
type of fishing.

Ask us about Gyotaku or making a fish print of your catch. The word Gyotaku is Japanese for “fish print”. We use your catch to make a print of it either on rice paper or on white co(on fabric and return the fish to you
